Elena Nayman-Ünaldı graduated from Moscow-Tchaikovsky State Conservatory, one of the most prominent schools of music in the world. She has been continuing her studies as a viola player since she was 12, having started learning music with piano and violin. She gave various concerts as a soloist or within chamber groups in many concert halls including the famous Bolshoy Hall during her education in Moscow. She participated as a viola player in regular concerts for 3 years in the “Moskovia” Chamber Music Orchestra founded by the famous Russian State Artist, violinist Eduard Grach. In addition, she toured with “Gnesin Virtuosos Symphony Orchestra” in Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands and Italy. Nayman-Ünaldı has studied with the worldwide famous viola artist Yuri Bashmet actively at “Chigiana Music Academy” organized in Siena, Italy and gained appreciation by the said viola master. Nayman-Unaldi has a great interest in chamber music therefore she attended the “Klasik Keyifler International Chamber Music Festival” in Cappadocia. She has also been performing at concerts and festivals as a member of “Nemeth Quartet” since 2013. Elena Nayman Ünaldı studied with Russian State Artist Elena Ozol at Moscow Private Gnesin School and with Assoc. Prof. Roman Balashov at Tchaikovsky State Conservatory. Nayman-Ünaldı has been working as a viola and chamber music teacher at Uludağ University as a full time teaching staff as well as performing with Nemeth Quartet, progressing in her academic life actively in Turkey.
